Both applicants must apply for their marriage license in person, and on the same day, to the Clerk of Circuit Court office. Listed below are three Clerk of Circuit Court locations, phone numbers and websites for more information:

Marriage Application Requirements:
Both applicants must be 18 years of age or over to apply without parental consent. If either applicant is under the age of 18 years, but at least 16 years of age, a birth certificate and proof of identification is required along with a notarized written consent of the parents or legal guardian. Consent forms are available at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Applicants under the age of 16 must obtain a determination from a county court judge.
Florida Residents – The fee is $96.00 payable by cash, credit card, check or money order payable to the “Clerk of Circuit Court”. A three-day waiting period is required before you can be married. However, if you take a pre-marital course, the waiting period is waived, and the fee is reduced to $32.50. A valid certificate of completion from a pre-martial course conducted by a registered course provider must be presented to the Clerk of Circuit Court’s office and also to us.
Non-Florida Residents – The fee is $93.50, and there is no waiting period or course requirement.
Each party must provide the Clerk of Circuit Court's office a form of a valid identification (i.e. driver’s license, passport or Florida identification card).
If either applicant was previously married, the date of the prior marriage ended by divorce, annulment or death is required. In accordance with Florida Statutes 741, the term “marriage” means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife.
A blood test is not required.
